Thats why I like GA more the IR, it is more of a realistic representation about the Roman Empire. You constantly battle with money in IR to do things, in GA it is more about Authority than Money. GA is more about town developement and expansion, not about money and how much wealth you can aquire. IR is more about money, if you have a family over a certain level of sestertii, you can make them enemies of the state and reclaim all the monies.

GA also have a wider building selection than IR, but in IR the buildings will upgrade by themselves, depending on the wealth in the surrounding area. In IR, you could build a high density of bakeries together and manufacture as much bread together as possible, not realistic to me. GA relies on building coverage, it means you still have to build the butcher close the the bakery and you still need to build it all over the map. I personally prefer GA over IR, because of the realism and don't have any hassles with logistics or stupid slaves on strike. GA has more of a realistic looking city than IR. The buildings can be joined together, like the insulas. The graphics is mostly the same, but GA do it better.
The buildings also got upkeep and uses these resources to stay is shape. If logs been cut down, they carry it to the build site, if you got a marble mine, the marble slabs is carried to the baths or to the arena. This game is not like a followup, otherwise it would be Imperium Romanum 2. I've played it and can't really put my finger down which one is the best or worse. Grand Ages differs majorly from Imperium Romanum.
In GA:R, a house provides 1 work slot and that's it. In IR, a house would have a man and woman, and then an old person or child, and you'd have to find jobs for them all. Food is magically produced instantly and distributed everywhere. In GA:R, buildings just have an arbitrary timer you have to sit through before they're constructed.

Slaves would gather materials and take them to the construction site, and gather food and distribute it. If you search a download site for Grand Ages Rome Keygen, this often means your download includes a keygen. In IR buildings were constructed by slaves. One of the worst changes is how resources are moved around, in that they're not actually moved around at all in GA:R. GA:R seems like a much more "streamlined", or dumbed down version, though it's got its own set of decent features as well. The games are very similar, but have major differences. Everything's nicely modelled in IR, it's just not all shiny and oversaturated like GA:R/every modern game since 2008. Well to be honest it looks like GA:R is just a graphical upgrade with a couple new features thrown in.

Damn, I thought I was looking at a Grand Ages mod or something, becouse while the graphics were much worse, I was seeing the same exact models for many of the buildings. Up to four players may compete or co-operate across 6 different multiplayer modes.Originally posted by amgen9:So I wasnt aware they had another game of this type, so I looked it up.

Set during the final years of the Roman Republic, the campaign tasks the player with restoring their family's fortune and establishing themselves as a Roman statesman and leader. The primary goal of each mission is to construct a Roman colony which meets certain conditions, all the while balancing the needs of the colony's different classes.
